The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting online, on Tuesday, June 9th, at 7:30pm:
Daemon Dash: Net-SNMP Setup
Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP) is a widely used protocol for monitoring the health and welfare of network equipment (e.g. routers), computer equipment and even devices like UPS's. Net-SNMP is a suite of applications used to implement SNMP v1, SNMP v2c and SNMP v3 using both IPv4 and IPv6.
Adam Thompson will demonstrate how to quickly set up the Net-SNMP daemon using the built-in configuration tools.
We will also attempt to do an online "door prize" draw this month!

The group holds its meetings at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of every month from September to June. (There are no meetings in July and August.) Meetings are open to the general public; you don't have to be a MUUG member to attend.
