I am planning on dropping into see Assentworks prior to the meeting. It is close by UofW and has an Open House every Tues starting at 6pm.

AssentWorks is a non-profit workshop dedicated to providing hands-on access to fabrication and prototyping equipment, knowledge, and a community of support for entrepreneurs, inventors, tinkerers, artists, and innovators.
I had a tour last year and was very impressed with the setup. They have significantly increased their space and equipment over the last year.
