MUUG Online Meeting, Tuesday, Oct 12, 7:30pm -- Ardour Audio Software and grepcidr

The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting online, on Tuesday, October 12th, at 7:30pm: Ardour Audio Software This month, Troy Denton will be presenting Ardour. Available on Linux (as well as macOS and Windows), Ardour allows you to record, edit, mix and master audio and MIDI projects. If you are an audiophile, or a beginner wanting to know how to get into audio manipulation, or just curious and like to see audio represented graphically, then this presentation is for you. RTFM Katherine Skrupa will be talking about grepcidr, a tool that filters input by IP addresses and networks, using both IPv4 and IPv6. The grepcidr command can be very useful in networks, including mail filtering, network security and log analysis. This will once again be an online meeting. (Reload the page if you don't see the link, or if there are issues with connecting.) The group holds its meetings at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of every month from September to June. (There are no meetings in July and August.) Meetings are open to the general public; you don't have to be a MUUG member to attend.
