leasing storage on-site

Hi All, Do you know if it is possible to short-term lease storage on-site, in Winnipeg? fail2ban and the ignoreip option in jails

Following up on Kat's question during last night's RTFM, it looks like the ignoreip option in a jail's configuration affects the filter (rather than the actions), in that the "Currently failed" and "Total failed" counters for that filter don't increment when a failure is logged for an IP that's in the range/list of the ignoreip option. So, in short, those IP's are completely ignored, for all intents and purposes, by fail2ban. -- Gilbert E. Have any of you heard about SourceForge's recent takeover/highjacking of GIMP for Windows and Nmap? This was a bit of a shocker to me. The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, Junes 9. The meeting topic for this month is as follows: Git Bisect Your Way to Fame and Fortune Hit a bug that no one is fixing? Don't know enough C to debug it yourself? In this month's presentation, Trevor Cordes will discuss using git-bisect(1), in a process from bug discovery through to kernel patch commit. This isn't some dry, isolated git rehash either: you'll see how to leverage distro resources and integrate them with "vanilla", all from a non-kernel hacker perspective. You'll also learn how to get the necessary attention of the appropriate movers and shakers. Wrapped in a riveting story containing angry wives, Downton Abbey, and a twist ending, this is one presentation you don't want to miss! This month's RTFM segment will feature fail2ban(1), a versatile tool for blocking network abusers, presented by Gilbert Detillieux. Does anyone have big (like tabloid or bigger) scanner they want to sell? Even an ancient SCSI or parallel one might be ok. I just want *big*. Do they even make scanners bigger than legal or tabloid?
