SPARC 10 FS

I've got a SPARC 10 I'd like to get rid of since I don't use it. Haven't turned it on in a while, but from memory, the specs are: SPARC 10, one processor (I think it's either the 75 or 110 MHz one), ISDN S/T interface 160MB of RAM 19" or 20" single sync monitor (awesome monitor, I have a PC adaptor for it but couldn't get the frequency working on my PC) The video card is upgraded, it's a Creator something or other Fast scsi card (in addition to the internal bus) 2 or 3 SCSI hard drives, around 4GB in total External CDROM w/ enclosure External HDD enclosure (2 or 3 bays) Keyboard, optical mouse + pad Cables I think it was last running Linux, but it also runs Solaris. Phantogram portfolio viewing - any interest?

As many of you know, I've been experimenting with a relatively new form of 3D image called a "phantogram", and I presented on this at the April MUUG meeting. I also participate in a shared "folio" (portfolio) with several other phantogram makers who meet online via a Yahoo! group. This shared folio currently has 17 prints by 13 different contributors (myself included), and it is in my hands only until late next week, when I will be mailing it off to the next contributor. Before I send it off, I thought some of you might be interested in viewing these works... We don't have a MUUG meeting this month, but I propose Tuesday, July 12, at 7:30pm as the date and time for us to get together for the viewing. (I imagine that's still the best day to meet, and would cause the least scheduling conflicts.) So, if any of you are interested, just let me know by e-mail (either to me personally, or by reply to the list). If there are enough interested people, I'll arrange for an appropriately-sized room here at the U of M (likely right in the building where I work - Machray Hall), and let you know the details. -- Gilbert E. What does "uname -a" produce?? is there an smp after the FC%? If not, it's not smpenabled .. maybe your grub/lilo is pointing to the wrong boot image? Dan. It could be that you have a version of the kernel compiled with no SMP support? Does anyone know if the newest stable kernel (2.6.12) has changed the way it displays CPUs with hyperthreading? Previously my system was running 2.6.9 and showed two CPUs even though it had a single P4 with hyperthreading.
