Apparently it's not a joke, despite the ad copy: "...will bring out all the nuances in digital audio reproduction..." "...signal directional markings are provided for optimum signal transfer..."
That's right, US$499 for 1.5 metres. I suspect the explanation is in the first sentence: "...designed for the audio enthusiast." They'll buy anything. This is what's known as "cable porn".
