So there's the 55" TV I'm using as a monitor, and the cookie cooling racks I found at Lee Valley that are wide enough to accommodate my laptops *with* dock without having to take over the whole desk. Two notable downsides: HDMI power management doesn't work the same way with a TV as with a monitor, so I have to keep the remote handy to turn it back on every time I sit down... And the power button for the lower laptop is in the far back-right corner :-(. Thankfully I don't need it often! -Adam
Since when does this mailing list allow attachments?!
Q: how do you switch between laptops? KVM?

Always has, it's just a really really tiny size limit (256kb, iirc). Perhaps RHIP? Not sure, I didn't approve the message.
Yeah, I tried a USB3 4K HDMI KVM, but it kinda sucked because you had to use an IR remote to control it, and also because it broke within 48hrs :-). I then went with the cheapest one I could find on Amazon that did 4K and had a physical remote switch to control it, and it's ... adequate. 3 USB ports are just enough to avoid needing a hub too.

Yeah, we've never disallowed attachments, but the size limit does often get in the way.
I also seem to recall that with earlier versions of GNU Mailman, the attachments weren't stored in the mail archive, but they now seem to be.
Perhaps RHIP? Not sure, I didn't approve the message.
I approved that one, as I've done for other e-mails from legit members that happen to hit the size limit. (It has nothing to do with rank... Maybe MHIP?)
We should perhaps revisit the size limits, and allow something more reasonable for today's standards.
