Thanks for all the help but I've given up on Kguitar for now. Kguitar didn't like /configure with-qt-dir=/usr/lib/qt-2.3.0 or a variety of other attempts like the above. So I made a soft link for qt. Kquitar then found some other problem to complain about. I gave up on the .tar.gz and got the .rpm. It didn't install either. Some library was missing. I'll send them a detailed error report. But I've learned some stuff, thanks to you guys, so it wasn't a waste. Thanks again.
