Anyone used Metz RJ-45 connectors?

Has anyone used Metz RJ-45 connectors for Cat6 termination? Sorry, not UNIX related... Does anyone have a recommendation for a place to buy a LMR N male to RP-TNC cable of about 20 ft. length? I've bought from Superpass.com before, and it worked out fine. They have a 25' one for $26+tax+shipping. A local place would be nice. Kevin

MUUG Meeting, October 8, 7:30pm -- Xataface

The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, October 8. The meeting topic for this month is as follows: Xataface This month Brad Vokey will (attempt to) give a demonstration of Xataface: an open-source, full-featured, web application framework for building front-ends to MySQL databases. Xataface auto-magically generates web forms, lists, menus, and more, so that non-technical end users can interact with MySQL databases safely and effectively using an easy to build custom web application. For this month's RTFM, Gilbert Detillieux will talk about the trap(1p) command, used for signal handling in Bourne shell scripts. Proper use of "trap" is important in coding scripts that clean up after themselves. The group holds its general meetings at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of every month from September to June. (There are no meetings in July and August.) Will you need the scanner often, Trevor, or only occasionally? I know when I worked at Kendrick's the production copiers had a very fast scanner (feeder, though glass was available) for up to 12x18 (greyscale or bitmap), and a slower standalone scanner with feeder & flatbed that would do colour (up to 12x18). Save straight to PDF, and pricing was based on time + a small flat fee ($2-5?). Some place like Staples probably has something too, though I suspect you'll have more luck with the smaller print shops, especially if you want it in colour. Similar to what Adam suggested - we also had a few artists who paint on huge canvases (6'x6' and bigger) that would take photos of their work. Then they'd tweak it in Photoshop to correct some colours so they could make prints for sale. If you're scanning something like text, playing with the Curves & Levels in Photoshop will help tweak it to get white paper and dark, sharp text (assuming you're not scanning as bitmap!)

Doing so effectively requires using cross-platform tools, however, which programmers may not have even heard of. Adam will demonstrate the Lazarus programming environment for Windows and Linux, showing how easy it is to build, debug and run the same program under either or both operating systems. smartctl output examples?

I'm looking for examples of "smartctl -H /dev/disk_device_name", preferably from multiple types of hard drive and preferably from multiple OSes. If you wouldn't mind sending me the output of "smartctl -H" along with a description of what OS (Linux, FreeBSD, MacOSX, etc.) and what kind of HDD bus type (SCSI, IDE, ATA, SATA, SAS), I would appreciate it.
