How does on get the date function to work in Libre Office spreadsheet?

Hi, I've formatted the cells as date mm/dd/yy and entered the values as is. Also tried by preceeding with equal sign in case deemed to be a formula but neither works. I assume a difference between two days yields the difference in days, correct? Or are the formula different than plain math? Eduard the Osborne guy at last meeting

The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting IN PERSON, on Tuesday, May 2nd, at 7:30pm. Yes, that's a week early, i.e. the FIRST Tuesday of the month... Brad Vokey has graciously let us use his work office for our next in-person meeting. The meeting room will be open by 7:00 pm, with the actual meeting starting at 7:30 pm. If driving, enter the lot using the most north east entrance and drive around to the south west corner of the building (see route in map detail on poster linked below). You can use any of the free, ample, and safe parking spots that say "reserved" in front of units #1 through #4 before entering unit #2. Bus stops #30814 and #30880 (route 77) are only 150 meters away. The last bus leaves for Polo Park at 10:15 pm and for Garden City at 10:31 pm. Logan Ave. bus routes #19, #26, and #27 are a 600 meter (8 minute) walk to the south. For those unable or preferring not to attend in person, the meeting will also be available online, using BBB as usual. Stay tuned to our muug.ca home page for the official URL, which will be made available about a half hour before the meeting starts. "washing" a fork/exec to force all groups

Just ran into this: https://stackoverflow.com/questions/8568596/procmail-disregards-etc-group# Postfix is doing something before/while it calls procmail for local delivery which strips all but the primary group of the recipient. This means any complicated pipe I have setup in procmail which relies on secondary groups fails with read perm errors. Sendmail doesn't do this stupidity (yay)! New Old Dell Server

Hi folks, I recently came into possession of a brand new old machine and I'm wondering if anyone here might have an interest in it. The machine came to me as part of a bigger deal. I could deploy it but I don't necessarily need to so I would just as soon sell it instead. Sendmail question

I have a user ("username") which has some mail in /var/share/mail/username (this is Solaris). The mail should have been forwarded, but for some reason has not been. Can the mail in the file above be somehow resent (re-received?) by sendmail or some process now that the user has configured /export/home/username/.forward?

Fwd: Samples of red text on black background

This is off-topic, but has anyone seen this sort of thing in Windows 10? Red and purple text on a dark or black background renders poorly, but other colours look clearly defined. The MS Code sample has a lighter gray background, so isn't affected...? Kevin
