Have an old Hauppauge PVR-150/250/350 (PCI card) you aren't using and want to get rid of it easily? I'll buy it! I'll come pick it up. I need it soon, so email me privately if interested, leave me a text # too if you can. Also let me know a price if you can. I figure someone in the club must have dabbled in MythTV or similar years back and doesn't anymore. Note, must be one of the models above, as none of the others will suit my application. Well, unless you have an HDMI->component + HD-PVR combo laying around. Thanks!

MUUG Meeting, Feb 13, 7:30pm -- iSCSI + S3 Cloud Backup, jmtpfs & simple-mtpfs

*** Please note the updated meeting location below *** The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 13. The meeting topic for this month is as follows: iSCSI + S3 Cloud Backup Wyatt Zacharias will present the AWS Storage Gateway with iSCSI block storage. The AWS Storage Gateway allows AWS S3 storage to be presented to hosts as native block devices using iSCSI. Wyatt will demonstrate the setup of a new storage gateway and how to connect a new volume to the gateway with iSCSI, and also talk about the costs and technical limitations of the service. RTFM: jmtpfs & simple-mtpfs Android USB Trevor Cordes will demonstrate how to transfer files to and from your Android device via USB cable using the MTP protocol and simple command line utilities. Cloud? We don't need no stinkin' cloud! The group usually holds its meetings at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of every month from September to June. (There are no meetings in July and August.) Nah, learn RPN, ya wimp! diff (page 52) - "Jackpot!"?... Yup, I've seen it for myself. goto (page 67) - Now you know the origin of the ':' command. if (page 69) - Primitive flow control, pre-csh/Bourne shells. shift (page 104) - Example of a shell script using the above. tee (page 113) - "pipe fitting",...
