SpamAssassin false positives on DATE_IN_FUTURE_96_Q?

I mentioned this problem at the last round-table session, but didn't get a solution, so I thought I'd post it here, just in case anyone has any suggestions to offer. I'm still seeing a whole bunch of false positives in SpamAssassin, since an update was installed in mid-September on a CentOS 5.7 system, for a rule called DATE_IN_FUTURE_96_Q, which is only supposed to be triggered when the "Date:" header has a date that is 4 days to 4 month ahead of the date in the "Received" header that has the _smallest_ difference in date. Here are the headers from the latest e-mail I've received with this false-positive. (I've stripped out irrelevant headers, for the sake of clarity and simplicity.) Note also, that in the above example, the only "Received" header was the one generated by my own server. bash script for printing lines that don't match?

I think I've asked this in the past but try as I might I can't remember what the answer was or figure out how I solved it before. I have 2 files that are nearly identical and I need to know which lines in the two files do _not_ match. I can think of some relatively complex loops with grep etc. which would probably work (for every line in file A, grep in file B etc.) solve the problem but I'm hoping for something more elegant. I thought at first that perhaps "join" would do it but even though it will provide left and right joins, there is no way to prevent it from outputting the matching lines. Any ideas? John

Seconding that, doing anything - particularly configuration - at the command line in pfSense is discouraged. Time to either downgrade your expectations, downgrade your hardware, or upgrade your software. What do you want to use IPCOP for, anyway? Just a simple firewall? Sounds like IPCOP isn't compatible with your hardware. Isn't it based on a fairly old kernel? If this is a brand-new machine, its SATA controller might not even be recognized by that kernel. Have you tried any other Linux distro or LiveCD on this hardware? -Adam

( grep -F fileb -v filea ; grep -F filea -v fileb ) | sort | uniq You can simplify that quite a bit if you only need a one-way comparison.
