I just had my first phishing email (paypal scam) caught by Thunderbird 1.5. It has an alert that warns you. A nice feature.
PayPal makes it very easy to report these scams. A couple a weeks ago I tried to report an eBay phishing email and it was way too difficult. You can not report the email without registering, etc. Pretty hostile.

Can anyone recommend a good IDE for C++ development? If it can handle other languages, that's a bonus.
I was running Eclipse under FC4 on my pentium 3 - it gets awfully slow, presumably because it runs on Java. I just switched to kdevelop, it seems a lot faster but I would like to know what's out there before investing a lot of time getting familiar with it.
Dan- I use "NEdit". It's not an IDE, just a very convenient text editor. If you don't mind writing makefiles, it works very well (it is also easy to configure). One of my co-workers uses "Kate". I think it comes with KDE and/or Fedora. I don't if it has *all* of the features of an IDE, but it is pretty close.
