From what I have been told and my understanding,

Shaw only traffic shapes the upload traffic, their Enhanced Quality of Service is supposed to remove your modem from being shaped, On their website, they say its mainly for VoIP services, but that's what it does. I haven't been able to test and confirm this tho. Kevin
