The MUUG e-mailing lists (of which you are a subscriber if you are reading this email!) have been migrated from the old server to the new one.
With this change we are encouraging everyone to update their address books (and spam exception lists, etc.) to use @muug.ca instead of the old @muug.mb.ca. For the time being, both domains will function, but from this point on, muug.ca will be the preferred domain. In the distant future, muug.mb.ca will probably go away.
For example, to send email to the roundtable mailing list, you'd now send it to roundtable@muug.ca
In addition, with the migration of the mailman mailing list web archives, thus concludes our migration of the entire MUUG web and ftp trove, and you can update your browser bookmarks to the new domain as well.
If you notice any glitches, please let the MUUG board know. Thanks!
Additional: I'd like to say a word of thanks to lisa, our venerable AMD dual-core muug server, having served us well for 5 years. Thanks lisa. And thanks to the U of M for having hosted us all those years!

Within two hours of receiving this (a night ago), I updated my contacts list to change all "@muug.mb.ca" to "@muug.ca". I also changed my 5 Gmail filters (that auto-label various MUUG e-mailings) from triggering on " muug.mb.ca" to triggering on "muug.ca".
I hope everyone else here updates their stuff too.

You made me think of a good point... I should have notified the lists *before* the migration so my migration note would get through existing filters! Oops... oh well, hindsight. We'll put a note in the newsletter and mention it at the next GM too.
In my case, missing my filters (which merely apply a correct label, but still keep the item in the Inbox) would not have caused me any big problem. But some people do much more aggressive filtering, relegating unrecognized items to some label/folder to be looked at "eventually".
As for updating my contacts list to change all "@muug.mb.ca" to "@muug.ca", that is mainly so that new posts to RoundTable, etc., go to the new addresses. Replies (to RoundTable, etc.) would of course go to the new addresses anyway, if MUUG has adjusted the reply-to addresses.
