Our kids are coming for a few days over the May long weekend. They both are computer users and I don't want them running Windows on my PC.
Currently when the computer boots you can select Windows or Linux. Is there some kind of autoexec I can put on windows that requires a password to continue. If the password isn't keyed in I want the PC to either shut down (preferably) or go to grub's boot screen.
Any ideas?

I think there are a few options here.
If it was me and I was using lilo I would just remove Windows as one of the options from the bootloader and then put it back once they are gone.
With grub I think you have some much nicer options. If I am not mistaken you can set passwords for individual boot options and even hide things.
Have a look at:

It talks specifically about hiding Windows partitions from your family.
