Are there any RTL8139 NICs with a socket for a boot rom? I just bought one from a local retailer, and there's none on my card. I phoned the retailer and he said there are no RTL8139 NICs with a socket for a boot rom. Strange. I thought all NICs had them, that's why I didn't look at the card until I got home. If there are any RTL8139 NiCs with a socket for a boot rom, does anyone know where can I get one?
