Upgraded to F39 tonight (F38 just announced EOL in 1 week!) " Install an image using systemd-boot rather than grub With this release, systemd-boot can be selected as an alternative boot loader for testing and development purposes. " Fedora release notes has the above nugget. Yay, groan, another systemd feature-creep. Now grub is under attack? We really need a new way to boot? Ugh.
