Just bought a couple of WDC SE hard drives and running them in a software RAID 1 configuration.
One drive is often not recognised at boot up. It does not happen all the time but occassionally on reset. After not being recongnised it requires a power cycle to get it back. It does not matter whether it is on the primary or secondary IDE.
Has anyone seen this behaviour.
