To delete an entry do I merely delete from the beginning of a title section to just before the the next title section starts?
As an example if I wanted the 2.4.18-10debug entry deleted would I highlight ---- title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-10debug) root (hd1,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-10debug ro root=/dev/hdb2 hdc=ide-scsi initrd /initrd-2.4.18-10debug.img ---- all of the above OR all of the above MINUS the hcd=ide-scsi line?
# grub.conf generated by anaconda # # Note that you do not have to rerun grub after making changes to this file # NOTICE: You have a /boot partition. This means that # all kernel and initrd paths are relative to /boot/, eg. # root (hd1,0) # kernel /vmlinuz-version ro root=/dev/hdb2 # initrd /initrd-version.img #boot=/dev/hda default=1 timeout=10 splashimage=(hd1,0)/grub/splash.xpm.gz title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-10debug) root (hd1,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-10debug ro root=/dev/hdb2 hdc=ide-scsi initrd /initrd-2.4.18-10debug.img title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-10) root (hd1,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-10 ro root=/dev/hdb2 hdc=ide-scsi initrd /initrd-2.4.18-10.img title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-5debug) root (hd1,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-5debug ro root=/dev/hdb2 hdc=ide-scsi initrd /initrd-2.4.18-5debug.img title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-5) root (hd1,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-5 ro root=/dev/hdb2 hdc=ide-scsi initrd /initrd-2.4.18-5.img title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-4debug) root (hd1,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-4debug ro root=/dev/hdb2 hdc=ide-scsi initrd /initrd-2.4.18-4debug.img title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-4) root (hd1,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-4 ro root=/dev/hdb2 hdc=ide-scsi initrd /initrd-2.4.18-4.img title Red Hat Linux (2.4.18-3) root (hd1,0) kernel /vmlinuz-2.4.18-3 ro root=/dev/hdb2 hdc=ide-scsi initrd /initrd-2.4.18-3.img title Windows98 rootnoverify (hd0,0) chainloader +1 ~ ~ ~ ~
