Hi,
I've formatted the cells as date mm/dd/yy and entered the values as is.
Also tried by preceeding with equal sign in case deemed to be a formula
but neither works.
I assume a difference between two days yields the difference in days,
correct? Or are the formula different than plain math?

Can someone here recommend some specific USB3 to Ethernet hardware adapters, to make a reliable NAS drive. I want this architecture because the external USB3 drive will frequently need to be disconnected from NAS usage and connected locally to another computer via USB (for certain data updates).

If the subject line doesn't scare you then maybe you can help me out
with this one. Windows 2000 is its own punishment at this point, but
it's part of the mission in this case.
I have a working Windows 2000 server running on VMWare esxi. I
downloaded the image as a vmdk file and attempted to import it into my
Linux system as a KVM image. It mostly works.
I did this successfully with 2 other machines that were Windows 2012R2
from the same source and same destination. Those work.
W2k is …
[View More]having issues because it has C: E: and F: but only C: is
recognized when I boot it up in the new environment. It shows that E:
exists but it believes that it is corrupted.
There are probably some parameters that I don't know about that I need
to pass in order to make this work.
The general process was download the vmdk image, use "qemu-img convert"
to make a raw file and then try to boot that. I tried using virt-install
and I tried some other manual config methods but this is as far as I
have been able to get.
Does anyone here have experience with this sort of scenario?

I saw this on another forum. A hospital somewhere in the US ordered a dozen HP
laptops for some physicians and nurses. When they arrived, they discovered the
"Power On/Off" button is shaped like just another keyboard key and is located
in the top row. Immediately to the left of the Delete Key. And just above the
Backspace key.
And Insert? It's the fifth key to the left of Delete, on the F10 key. To its
right are F11 (which also has a glyph of a jet aircraft on it), F12/Dual
Screen Mode, …
[View More]Prt Scr, the aforementioned Power Off button, and Delete.
The person who posted the message says the Power button instantly shuts down
the system when it's pressed, although I suspect this functionality can be
changed in Windows. However, it's the only power button on the device so they
can't simply disable it.
Who the hell designs this crap?

I switched my main e-mail infrastructure to Fastmail in Sep 2022, and I just want to show you folks how visually elegant the nested quoting that we do in MUUG RoundTable looks in Fastmail:
Another example (truncated at the top):
Those long vertical braces and the different background colours (based on nesting depth) really add to the elegance. I've seen about 4 different colours in deep nesting.
Also, the very thing that drove me to Fastmail (from Gmail) was the fact that Fastmail (like …
[View More]Gmail) is a true implementation of labels (vs folders). Two of their key people are in fact the primary people behind the JMAP initiative, with an IETF track, intended to supplant IMAP. Fastmail's cloud is running on Cyrus JMAP servers.

Hey all,Does anyone have a LTO 5 compatible tape drive? I am looking for one that is external, whichever connection interface is fine, and even if it's single tape capacity that will work for me.Thanks,Daulton
I am looking at alternatives to the Adobe Robohelp help/documentation
system development software.
Are there any recommendations over the many open source packages that exist?
I have looked briefly at Sphinx. Has anyone got any experience with
this package?
Many thanks in advance for your suggestions and comments.

Brock

Hello everyone,
I know many of us like to use and keep older hardware, so I am hoping someone is able to assist me.
I need to access some older tapes (Ultrium 2). I found the tape driver for it, and the SCSI cable.
Now, I am looking for a SCSI Controller and a Terminator.
My plan is to transfer all tapes to a different one that uses a newer tape standard.
Would anyone have one or both of these parts, and would be willing to let me borrow them? It'd be much appreciated.
Thank you.
