How does on get the date function to work in Libre Office spreadsheet?

Hi, I've formatted the cells as date mm/dd/yy and entered the values as is. Also tried by preceeding with equal sign in case deemed to be a formula but neither works. I assume a difference between two days yields the difference in days, correct? Or are the formula different than plain math? Eduard the Osborne guy at last meeting

Oh joy, Spectre is back. New kernels are out to fix the new retbleed. Retbleed preys upon the fix for Spectre-2 that we all had fun with a few years ago. Some people thought the retpoline wasn't enough of a fix and that returns could also be a target for these gadget & sidechannel attacks. Turns out they were right. Unlike past vulns that were only, or worse, on Intel, this one is slightly worse on AMD. Anyhow, early numbers predict a 12-25% slowdown of your box once you update and reboot. Joy indeed! A reminder that the MUUG BBQ is this evening. (Details below.) At this point, we're past the RSVP deadline, but we can probably accommodate a few more people (especially if they bring a potluck item to share). BGP data in real time?

Does anyone know of a good way for monitoring BGP route data in near real-time? There are several public BGPPlay sites out there but the data seems delayed? That being said, one challenge I'm having with the sites is the time stamps don't say which timezone they are in. I assume it is UTC but if that is the case then the data is at least a couple hours old on any of the sites I've found. John
