How does on get the date function to work in Libre Office spreadsheet?

Hi, I've formatted the cells as date mm/dd/yy and entered the values as is. Also tried by preceeding with equal sign in case deemed to be a formula but neither works. I assume a difference between two days yields the difference in days, correct? Or are the formula different than plain math? Eduard the Osborne guy at last meeting

Rural Fiber with Rural Connections Manitoba Ltd?

I'm no longer considering Xplornet; thanks! What about bringing fiber to our farm located south of Elie? Does anyone has any experience with Rural Connections Manitoba Ltd. https://rcml.ca/ I just found their website today. They are offering $150/month 150mbps down and up with a $1,200 rural installation fee. They are based out of Oak Bluff; there is apparently no coverage map on their website. They also offer In-Town connections: $80/month for 100mbps down and up - and no installation fee if you sign a 2 year agreement. Patrick

A reminder that the MUUG online meeting will be on Jitsi this evening... The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting online, on Tuesday, March 9th, at 7:30pm: MeshCentral Following up on our recent Open Source Solutions for Remote Work series, Alberto Abrao will show how to install and use MeshCentral, a simple and efficient open source solution for management and control of computers, phones and tablets. A web portal provides the tools for managing and controlling all paired devices. The server runs on Windows, Linux, or OpenBSD. These can be hosted on cloud platforms such as Azure and Amazon EC2, or a cheap VPS instance by virtue of its light footprint. It is also suitable for self-hosting, either Internet-facing or restricted to your Local Area Network (LAN). The Agent to be installed on client devices is compatible with Windows, Linux, *BSD, MacOS, and Android.
