MUUG Online Meeting, Tuesday, Jan 12, 7:30pm -- Open Source Solutions for Remote Work

The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting online, on Tuesday, January 12th, at 7:30pm: Open Source Solutions for Remote Work Alberto Abrao and Troy Denton will give an overview of free and/or open source solutions for modern remote work needs. Topics include: * Video meetings - hosting your own with Jitsi. Existing free(!) services, and self-hosted installation. * VPN - how to host your own with wireguard. * Office 365 alternatives: NextCloud and Collabora Office. Overview and installation. Join the meeting: https://jitsi.merlin.mb.ca/muug.2021.01 The group holds its meetings at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of every month from September to June.
