High powered PCI wireless card

Thought I might ask if anyone knows where I might get a high powered PCIe or PCI wireless card. I've seen the Alfa USB's and they have a nice 2 watt adapter ( AWUS036NHR ), decided to order one up and try it out but I'd still really like a internal variant. Anyone? Thanks, Paul

In theory (I haven't tested it yet) it is remotely exploitable across routers. Intel ethernet - h/w remote DoS exploit!

This guy explains it better than I can, but the meat of it is that a large number of Intel Ethernet controllers in the field are susceptible to a firmware bug that can shut down the Ethernet port remotely. http://blog.krisk.org/2013/02/packets-of-death.html Wow. The Manitoba UNIX User Group (MUUG) will be holding its next monthly meeting on Tuesday, February 12. The meeting topic for this month is as follows: System Call Tracing This month's presentation will feature Adam Thompson, who will show how to profile and troubleshoot UNIX processes without needing access to source code, through the use of system-call tracing. Learn where, when, why (and for a few of these, how) to use dtrace, dtruss, ftrace, ktrace/kdump, ltrace, LTTng, par, ProbeVue, ptrace, strace, System Tap, tusc, trace, and truss to find out exactly what that troublesome program is doing behind the scenes. The group holds its general meetings at 7:30pm on the second Tuesday of every month from September to June. (There are no meetings in July and August.)
