My old Sun Netra T1 and X1 servers used the same serial pinout for LOM as cisco, brocade, etc console cables. Not sure if thats the case for you or not.

IIRC the pinout is only the same if you disable all flow control - RTS/CTS/DTR/DSR are a bit different on Sun gear as I recall. Could be wrong about this, it’s been a while.
I *think* all the various xLOM serial ports used the same pinout…
Thanks Theo and Adam -- yeah .. these are a few X1's I have in the rack ... not sure why my 'purchased' adapter is having issues ... the one I made up a year or so ago worked just fine, but it is not at my home where I can see it .. so I either lent it or lost it :-( ... not having much time to (nor spare parts that I can see) to craft up a home made one ... looking to borrow ...
