I'm looking for a cheap 1U or 2U server that won't cost me more in shipping than the server itself (i.e. local pickup, ideally). Dual P-III Xeon 1.0GHz or better. (Yes, seriously. Newer CPUs are OK, too.) Dual onboard Gigabit Ethernet, *or* 64-bit PCI ("PCI-X") slot. Must have mounting rails. If you have an old rackmount server you want to get rid of, or know someone who does, please let me know.

Talk to Les. He had last time I was over ~20 ibm xserve 335's.
I enquired and he was looking at no less than ~$100 for them, although this was a few months ago now..
They don't have dual power supplies, but they do have dual gig nic ( broadcom if memory serves ). They're also dual socketed, and have I think 64bit pci.
Anyways, ping Les, he might have something you'd be interested in.
