I usually buy cable from either FS.com or primecable.com. If you have a PST# you can get it faster w/o shipping at Anixter or EECOL or any other electrical distributor. Cat 6/6A/7 is good if you want to run multi-gig or 10GBASE-T. *Significantly* harder to work with and terminate compliantly than Cat5e - strongly recommend the "self-terminating" jacks both M and F if you go that route.
