It also looks a lot like how Google started out,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Google_platform, they used an actual rack but
everything was held in with plexiglass, velcro, and tie wraps.  What the
picture doesn't show is the front door of the rack is entirely covered in
the 3" fans you find inside the older power supplies, kind of like this one.
