Probably not, judging from the messages in the GnuCash lists. I haven't seen 
Quicken, but GnuCash seems to be a more hard-core accounting program.  I 
don't think you' d be able to carry much Quicken knowledge over.  SOme day 
I'll get around to comparing it to KMyMoney...

BTW, what ever happened to that VMware special offer that we had a chance to 
sign up for last year?
