[RndTbl] Konqueror freezes on downloads

First, I'd like to thank you all for helping me
install Red Hat 7.2. 
You can't always believe what you read. KDE
desktop did not list a modem and KDE hardware
probe had my
modem listed as unknown, so I just assumed it
wouldn't work. Especially when minicom did a 
segment fault. But it works just fine. I filled in the
KDE dialer info, did a reset with the modem terminal,
and it works.
  But Knoqueror freezed whenever I try to download
a file, be it http or ftp. Netscape Communicator runs
perfectly.
