If your building connects your telephone to the front door security system, 
check to see if ADSL interferes with it.  After my in-laws got ADSL, the code 
that they punch in to let visitors in stopped working, and MTS (the telephone 
people, not the ADSL people) had to come out to adjust the equipment.
