cool -- thanks for the link BIll - and thanks for discussing this at last
night's meeting.

I did some checking on the interfacing -- this diagram (attached URL) does
help understand the situation.

since I still have my 11.04 system up and going, i'll have to try this stuff
from ericsson out ...

i also like the following comment in the faq:

Builds on the strength of the web browser: WebRTC abstracts signaling by
offering a signaling state machine that maps directly to PeerConnection. Web
developers can therefore choose the protocol of choice for their usage
scenario (for example, but not limited to: SIP, XMPP/Jingle, etc...).
