Thanks to John for showing his progress with the openfire xmpp
integration with asterisk ...

was interesting to see that device you brought in bill ... openmoko ...
from all things, it has a fair bit on it ..
ARM9 400MHz 128MB RAM, 256MB flash, 1.2Ahr battery, 802.11b/g, triband
gprs, bluetooth 2.0, motion sensors, a-gps, sd slot, 640x480.
what I really like are all the online schematics to the device!  Would
be nice if more devices came out with those...

openmoto.org has some interesting options .. certainly there's quite a
bit that can be done with this device...

and, for those who are interested, the spot gps tracker works fine ... :-)
