[*] JAJAH - web activated-telephony

Well a few of us thought they were trying to buy their client base.

I have had to pay the 10 Euros (~ $13 CAD) to activate an account. It's
good for either 120 or 180 days. What the heck can you get for $13 that
will give you so much recurring pleasure as talking to a cousin that you
have never seen or met. <VBG>

But Skype is booming and is free as well with it's own hard phone and
such.

The thing with these VoIP guys is you can use IP to get to a recipients'
land line and its good quality and all for free.

Try calling Europe, it's really cool to be able to make that land line
connection to someone just sitting down for supper. <VBG> Much like
calling local friends...

I love it!

Do you know what their business case is based on?

They do not appear to hit you with ads. Do you think they are luring in
clients with free initial calls and hope that people will see the value
of
paying $0.01/min later?
