It saves me a lot of time.  Lots.  I have 116 feeds now, most only push 
out a few items a month.  I can burn through 150+ new items in the morning 
in a few minutes, and dig into the stuff that looks interesting if I want.  
I don't need to load up someone else's web page because the content is 
already there.

It's one of those things that you eventually figure out, and then wonder 
how you lived without it.  It's even to the point where the time saved in 
writing the scraper pays off in not having to visit the site every day.
