I try to stick with Intel brand motherboards, specifically because they overnight replacements if something goes wrong, so that is very very handy when you are dealing with production servers (where 70 people are relying on that machine to be up and running).

But, as someone else pointed out Supermicro is pretty good too, I have used both their cases and their motherboards and they were fantastic.

Tyan is nice and stable as well, but they are _REALLY_REALLY_ bad for warranty work (2-4 months in some cases) for replacements, so definitely not something you want to go with unless you plan on having a spare kicking around.
