Anyone have recommendations on a model of JBOD SAS/SATA card to add to a Linux based NAS? Not looking for any hardware RAID capabilities, but if it's a RAID card with JBOD mode that's fine too. Also needs to have internal connectors as they're all internal drives.

I bought one many years ago that has worked fine in Linux ever since. I'm sure you can find one used, or a newer model new:
LSI Logic / Symbios Logic SAS1068E PCI-Express Fusion-MPT SAS (rev 08) Intel SASUC8I 8 port PCIex x8
I think I had to buy the 2 x SFF-8087 breakout cables separately.
Anyhow, extremely reliable over the years. I have a full 8 drives on mine.
I use only JBOD and it does it easily/well.

Seconded.
