Trying to install RedHat 8 on a system with an Initio SCSI card, and it hangs loading the driver (on install). All 7.x releases installed fine, and I'm installing to a IDE HD, there are no SCSI hard disks on the system.
Searched everywhere, can't find a resolution. Has someone else come across this problem?
According to Raymond J. Henry:

I assume by the lack of response that no one has. If you don't have any SCSI hard disks, why not try taking out the SCSI card (or perhaps disabling it in the BIOS if you can) prior to installing Red Hat 8.0?
