Re File Synchronization

Just about any versioning control should work to synchronize files between directories on the same or different machines. However, there is both processing overhead (may be negligible) and operator overhead.

Unison seems to work great, and has already saved me a lot of headaches. Like many file copy / synchronization programs, it uses rsync underneath.
