May have changed.  I tried to buy something from them several years ago without a business, they wouldn't take my money.  People change, so do companies.

Cat 6/6A/7 is good if you want to run multi-gig or 10GBASE-T.  *Significantly* harder to work with and terminate compliantly than Cat5e - strongly recommend the "self-terminating" jacks both M and F if you go that route.

What's the going price for a 1000' box of Cat 6 cable? Is there a good place to buy it in Winnipeg, or order online? I'm thinking of running some network cable in my house, most likely 1 GbE. I had previously used Cat 5E. Should I stick with that instead of 6?
