It has been over 10 years since I cared to know but does anyone on this list have any experience with or know what DSL services are required to get a static IP (and a dynamic as well) from our friends at MTS (and I don't want to entertain a dyn-dns option, less knobs means less to break)? The only hard-wired broadband available in a particular area of Manitoba is MTS DSL so it's not like I have a choice. :P As well, with the new service... can you refuse their router to get a plain simple modem? Can one just go an buy a 2/2+ DSL modem? -- Sean (mobile)
