Hi kevin, we have a Uniden LTE it's actually quite big about the size of a laptop about double the thickness there's got to be a minimum of 20 ft vertically between the receiving antenna and sending antenna I happen to have ours hooked up on a 80 ft Tower up on top of the hill behind our house because we're out in the boonies in the middle of nowhere and it works absolutely fantastic for about 350 ft around the antenna can't quite make it to the horse shed or the barn but it works in the shop the house it's all good it was about 1100 bucks when we purchased it but that's quite a few years ago.
Does anyone have one of these? Do they work in areas with poor reception? I'm going to be out in the boonies and I'm worried I won't get calls. BellMTS, in Spruce Woods Provincial Park if it matters.
