Thanks for getting back to me, I do not believe that would be the same type as LTO 5 came out in 2010. Here's a link about LTO tapes:

I have an HP external  that has been sitting in storage for 20+ years, was working when it went into storage.... it's the small dat tapes, is this what you are looking for ?? it's SCSI interface.
