Graduating from college into this
economy is no one's idea of a party.
Particularly in December. But Matt isn't
worried. With a great education behind him and
plenty of late-night JavaScript coding still
ringing in his head, Matt's ready to become an
expert designer. And, he's already got an
employer who believes in him.
Just in
his second year at university, Ben doesn't have
to worry yet about a job. But that doesn't mean
he's not already thinking about it. To say that
he's a bit JavaScript-obsessed might be an
understatement, but his roommates have gotten
used to a poster of Brendan Eich dominating
their dorm room.
Mom has
finally stopped pronouncing "HTML" as "Hit-Mell"
and mixing Java up with JavaScript. Most of the
time. She's always learned along with her boys,
realizes that everyone should know how to code,
and secretly thinks that Brendan Eich is kind of
a hunk.
Separated
into Introductory, Intermediate, and Advanced
levels, the books and videos included in the
Path to Mastery will get Mom started, push Ben
to the next level, and give Matt skills he can
take directly into the workplace. That's our
idea of a party.
