The company I work for, Qanda Networks, is exploring the possibility of hiring another network person. We're a company of 2 people and we're both working 50-60 hour weeks. Below is a list of the things we're looking for. We basically need someone that's good with Cisco, Fortinet, Windows and some Linux in roughly that order.
The work is demanding, but very interesting. We do network design, implementation, troubleshooting and third party monitoring. Our customers consist mostly of healthcare, government, education and the financial sector.

Requirements:
- Diagnose complex network issues and provide possible resolutions - Shown ability to work with minimal supervision - Work directly with customers on network troubleshooting issues, network planning and sales meetings from a technical standpoint - Willing to be on call 24x7, however with a 3rd person, we'd consider on call rotation
- 3 years using Cisco routers (16xx, 17xx, 26xx, 37xx, 72xx) - 3 years using Cisco switches (2900, 2950, 3550, 3750) - Knowledge of Cisco Aironet 1100/1200 series wireless access points - Knowledge of Cisco PIX Firewalls and Fortinet antivirus firewalls - CCIE/CCNP/CCIP/CCDP certifications considered strong assets - Strong knowledge of layer 2 technologies including ISDN, Ethernet, Frame Relay, Spanning Tree, VLANs, Trunking, 802.11b/g Wireless, HSRP, PPP, PPPoE - Strong knowledge of layer 3 and 4 technologies including IP, OSPF, RIP (v1/v2), BGP, TCP, UDP, IPSec - Knowledge of Quality of Service technologies including WFQ, WRED, WRR, class maps, policy maps and how they apply to Cisco routers and switches - Knowledge of RADIUS, TACACS+, Cisco ACS, Cisco access-lists and other Cisco related security mechanisms - Experience with CiscoWorks, Cisco WLSE, WhatsUp Gold or other monitoring/provisioning tools - Knowledge of Wireless WAN technology including vendors such as Proxim, Redline and Trango considered a strong asset - Knowledge of MPLS and metro style networks considered an asset - Knowledge of 3COM, Nortel, Extreme and other vendors network equipment an asset - Knowledge of Asterisk, and Cisco Telephony an asset - Knowledge of Microsoft Windows 2000/2003 Server and Active Directory an asset - Strong knowledge of Linux an asset
