Director of Technology Lead a team of System Administrators responsible for deploying and administering leading edge technology to support a 7x24 mission critical financial trading environment. You will lead an 8 member team of Solaris® Admins, NT® Admins and Network Admins. Be responsible for managing a network of 175+ Sun® workstations and servers, 10+ terabytes of raw disk, 40+ Compaq® servers in multiple NT/Windows® 2000 domains, 125 HP Windows® NT4.0®/2000 workstations, Nortel® PBXs, Voice and Data Multiplexers, and a complex internal Cisco® Gigabit/10/100 network. As our environment continues to grow, we seek a Director of Technology to manage the day to day operations of the System Admin team. The job includes approximately 40% management duties and 60% hands-on technical work, focusing mostly on Solaris administration. You must have expert level Solaris® administration skills. SCM is a fast-paced, demanding, hands-on environment. Only seasoned project and team managers with commanding hands-on technical experience with SCMs technology will be considered for this role.
